Robi Reid

Robi started her educational career as a lifeguard where she became experienced in the area of children’s first aid and physical development. Through early childhood education courses in college, she gained vast amounts of knowledge in child development as well as how to encourage growth in their social and emotional well-being. 

Robi entered the field of early childhood education when she planned on becoming a parent. After completing the ECE program and working or volunteering in several childcare centers, she could not find any places where she would want to put her own child. So…she opened her own childcare center. After meeting Kelly Coolin, they came together and opened Echo. Echo is both Robi’s work and passion as well as the place where she plans to stay until her retirement. 

Robi believes that teachers have the ability to shape the next generation. Early Childhood Educators are trained to work with children from birth to school age. Robi is confident that we have the best jobs in the world. She looks forward to teaching many more years of children. 

Robi has uncanny ability to recognize that each child is unique and has their own special sets of needs. Each child has their own way to grow and learn. Each child has something they are struggling with and that a competent teacher can guide the child into becoming the best that they can be. To Robi, all children are so very special; she feels lucky to be a part of the journey to help shape our world’s next generation.
